Better Internet Takes Time and Help

We’re building a brand new fiber-optic network in your community. Fiber means faster and more reliable internet but these networks take time and minor disruptions. Over the next few months, you’ll see our construction crews installing conduit and laying fiber. We’ll do our best to minimize disruptions and leave everything as it was, but we’re relying on your cooperation as we build out a better internet experience for your community.

We'll Keep It Short

Our goal throughout this process is to be as un-intrusive and efficient as possible. We’re coordinating with the local authorities to make sure of that. Our crews may be in different areas at different times to make sure the construction moves along. We may bypass certain streets that are currently inaccessible and return to them later. This helps keeps us keep moving forward and as a result helps the process proceed quickly.

Keeping You in the Loop

We’ll do our best to keep you updated on when we’ll be in your area and if there will be any disruptions. You may see a construction notice in your yard to give you a heads up. Constructions can mean temporary road closures or limited access to driveways. Our crews will do their best to complete their work quickly and leave everything as how they found it, but it wouldn’t be construction without some hiccups. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. We’ll do our best to keep you informed and make sure we take care of the areas we touch.

Laying Fiber Underground

During the construction phase, you will see our crews working in easement and right of way areas to lay our fiber optic cable underground. Part of this process involves leaving orange, blue, red or yellow locate marks on roads, sidewalks, and sometimes grass in order to avoid hitting other underground utilities.
