PRESS RELEASE

CLEARNETWORX + DEEPLY DIGITAL PREPARE TO EXTEND FIBER INTERNET ACCESS TO THE CITY OF DELTA:

Delta, Fiber Internet is Around the Corner

MONTROSE, JANUARY 2ND, 2022: Clearnetworx and sister company Deeply Digital are preparing to further construction of their regional fiber internet infrastructure into the City of Delta. Our teams are preparing equipment and materials to begin work in February. This project is the culmination of hundred of hours of mapping, planning and scheduling. Our teams have worked closely with City of Delta staff to bring world class internet connectivity to residents and businesses who until now have had limited connection options.

Clearnetworx will bring world class technology, speeds and reliability with a pricing structure that has opportunities for households and businesses with a range of needs and budgets. Residential plans start at $55 per month, with no connection fees for those who sign up for service by January 2023. In addition to participating in federal programs to help lower monthly charges for qualifying customers, Clearnetworx will be rolling out options for small businesses and hopes to be able to extend their Connecting Colorado Students programs that are already in place in Montrose and Bayfield.

The build out in Delta will take place simultaneously with several other developments across the Western Slope including in Bayfield, parts of the City of Montrose, the West End of Montrose County, Silverton and later in the year Fruita and Pallisade. This follows a busy 2020 that saw construction in Telluride, Ouray, Ridgway and Loghill.

Now, more than ever before access to reliable highspeed internet at an affordable price is critical for both businesses and families. World class connectivity provides opportunities for small businesses to reach and serve their customers, opens the community to location neutral workers, provides students of all ages with better access reducing hurdles that can negatively affect students in rural settings and small communities. Speaking about the build out to the City of Delta, Clearnetworx and Deeply Digital’s Owner Doug Seacat noted “I am really excited to start work in Delta, it’s been a long time in the planning and represents the great things that can happen when forward thinking municipalities [like the City of Delta] and willing private partners work together towards a common goal. As a local company with deep roots in the area our whole team is looking forward to getting to know the residents of the City of Delta and working with the community to connect families and businesses to gigabit internet service”.

Deeply Digital will undertake construction work alongside a team of contracting partners. As construction roles out and neighborhoods near completion, the Relationship Team at Clearnetworx will reach out to customers in those areas to provide details on connection options. Our teams are looking forward to participating in community events and providing opportunities for community members to get to know us, through meet and greets, town hall events and more.
