About Us
Who is Clearnetworx?
We’re a locally owned and operated fiber and fixed wireless internet service provider. We started this company in 2012 as a solution for our local community after watching businesses and residents leave because they did not have access to reliable and sufficient internet service. What is fiber internet?
Fiber optic internet uses glass strands to carry terabytes of data per second. Its capacity is virtually limitless which means the infrastructure we place in the ground is future-proofed for the needs of the communities we serve. We can provide our customers with gigabit speeds regardless of how many homes we connect in your neighborhood. Because fiber optic uses pulses of light to transmit data, it’s also not susceptible to weather, temperature, and water like traditional cable providers. So in short, we’re making the investment in fiber internet because we believe it’s the best investment for your community.
Account & Billing
What are the charges on my first bill?
Your first bill includes a prorated charge from your activation date (a partial month) plus your first full month of service. After that, your monthly bill should look consistent – unless you make changes or add services. Learn more about your first bill.
How do I make a payment?
Easy! Just log into your Customer Portal to make a one-time payment or set up autopay. You can also update your payment method there. Prefer a different route? You’re welcome to give us a call or mail a check to PO Box 1809, Montrose, CO 81402. Learn more about the Customer Portal.
Can I upgrade or change my plan anytime?
Absolutely! No contracts here – just give us a call or email and we’ll help you make the switch.
Technical Support
Do I need my own router?
Nope! We provide everything you need. But if you prefer your own setup, that works too – just gives us a heads up so we can support you properly.
Can I move my router to a different room?
Usually yes, but let’s chat first – we want to make sure it’s in the best spot for strong signal throughout your home.
What should I name my Wi-Fi?
May we suggest “The LAN Before Time” or “Hogwarts Guest Wi-Fi”? Learn how to change your network name in the Clearnetworx Connect app.
What's the different between a GPON and a router?
With fiber, there’s no modem. Instead, we install a small GPON terminal that connects to our fiber line, and your router takes it from there – spreading fast, reliable internet throughout your home.
How do I set up parental controls?
You can do that in the Clearnetworx Connect App! Head to “People” to assign devices and manage access times.

What A Healthy Router Looks Like
All your router lights should look something like this.
Rebooting Your Router
Sometimes, the old “turn it off and back on again” really is the fix.

Unplug
Unplug your router from power.

Wait
Wait about 30 seconds.

Plug It Back In
Plug your router back in and let it reboot (lights will flash for a bit – that’s normal).

Lights Mean Go
Once all lights are solid or slowly blinking, you should be good to go!

Rest Your Network Name & Password
Want a new Wi-Fi name that makes your neighbors laugh? Or need to lock things down until your kid’s choares are done?
- Open the Clearnetworx Connect app.
- Navigate to “My Network” and select “Edit Wi-Fi Settings”.
- Update your network name and password.
- Pro Tip: Don’t forget to save your new password somewhere safe (or bribe the kids with it).
