PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CLEARNETWORX ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF HIGH-SPEED FIBER INTERNET IN GRAND JUNCTION, CO:

GRAND JUNCTION, CO June 4, 2024:

Clearnetworx, a Western Slope-based leading provider of fiber internet services, began construction last month to bring its fiber optic network to Grand Junction, Colorado. Connectivity will be available in some areas as soon as September 2024.

The project is slated to reach more than 14,000 addresses and will be executed in two phases. Construction efforts have kicked off in neighborhoods along Patterson Road, near Mesa Mall and Canyon View Park. A map of the planned service area can be found online at clearnetworx.com/grand-junction.

Unlike other providers, Clearnetworx offers transparent pricing with no hidden fees, introductory rates, or data caps, and their operations and support are 100% local to the Western Slope.

Clearnetworx’s expansion into Grand Junction follows successful deployments in neighboring Palisade and Fruita. Already, Clearnetworx has connected over 300 customers in Palisade. Installations in Fruita started in April, with a remarkable 1,500 customers having pre-registered at that time – representing a significant 25% of total serviceable addresses eagerly awaiting Clearntworx’s services. Today, more than 350 customers are connected in Fruita, and installations are ongoing. This positive community response demonstrates the clear demand for a better internet solution in western Colorado.

“We are thrilled to bring our fiber internet services to Grand Junction,” said Doug Seacat, President of Clearnetworx. “Building on the success of our projects in Palisade and Fruita, we’re excited to offer Grand Junction residents and businesses the same level of reliable, high-speed internet access.”

Clearnetworx is constructing a 100% FTTH (Fiber to the Home) network, with XGS-PON technology that allows for scalability in speeds up to 10 Gigabit per second across its planned footprint. Monthly plans start at $49.95 per month for a symmetrical 300 Mbps (Megabits per second) and packages will scale up to 2 Gbps (Gigabit per second).

Residents can expect to see excavation and fiber crews working on FTTH (Fiber to the Home) efforts throughout the summer and fall. Door hangers and other notification methods will be used to signify the start of construction in an area.
