PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CLEARNETWORX TO BRING GIGABIT FIBER OPTIC INTERNET TO FRUITA, COLORADO:

FRUITA, May 18th, 2023: Clearnetworx, a Western Slope based leading provider of fiber internet services, today announced plans to bring its fiber optic network to Fruita, Colorado.  Construction is set to begin in May 2023, with connectivity available as soon as August.

The project will cover most addresses within city limits. The fiber optic network will provide residents and businesses with access to fast and reliable internet, enabling them to work, learn, and connect more efficiently and opens doors within the community for economic growth.

Kimberly Bullen, Public Works Director, explained, “In the City of Fruita’s 2021 community survey, residents expressed how they would like to see more internet providers in the area to help with speed and redundancy. Residents can expect to see Clearnetworx in the community over the next several months and are encouraged to reach out to Clearnetworx or the City of Fruita with any questions they may have.”

“We’re excited about our fiber expansion in Fruita. Our team has been in the planning and coordination phase for over a year, so we are extremely glad to have started construction,” stated Doug Seacat, owner of Clearnetworx. “We’re a Western Slope company so it’s always rewarding to invest infrastructure into the areas we grew up and live in.”

Clearnetworx is constructing a 100% FTTH (Fiber to the Home) network, with XGS-PON technology that allows for scalability in speeds up to 10 Gigabit per second across its planned footprint. Monthly plans start at $49.95 per month for a symmetrical 300 Mbps (Megabits per second) and packages will scale up to 1 Gbps (Gigabit per second).  The Clearnetworx team utilizes 100% local operations and foregoes the common frustrations with internet providers such as hidden fees, introductory rates, and data caps.

Residents can expect to see excavation and fiber crews working as early as May 1 for the FTTH (Fiber to the Home) efforts with construction lasting throughout the summer. Door hangers will precede construction efforts and residents can follow along with the buildout progress online at Clearnetworx.com/Fruita. Community members who are interested in fiber internet, can also view pricing and even pre-order the service via the site.
