Fall is officially here, and there’s been plenty happening around Clearnetworx! From showing up at community events to creating new ways to help our customers understand their fiber internet, our team has been busy.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Delta, CO: We were proud to support the Alzheimer’s Association of Western Colorado and join around 130 community members at Confluence Park in Delta for this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Fruita Fall Fest
Fruita, CO: A huge success, with our team spending the weekend connecting with hundreds of community members and even sponsoring the festival’s cupcake-eating competition!
Fort Lewis College Football
Durango, CO: We kicked off football season with a packed house at Fort Lewis College, where the first 400 Skyhawks fans received a Clearnetworx shirt and FLC topped off the night with a 27–9 win!
BeaconFest 2026
Montrose, CO: More than 1,000 people came through the Montrose Pavilion for this year’s BeaconFest, giving our team a great opportunity to meet and connect with hundreds of Montrose and Delta County community members.
Meet The Team
JOHNATHON MONTOYA
Johnathon is one of our Network Operations Engineers! He joined Clearnetworx in 2022 as a fiber-to-the-home installer before moving into network operations, where he now helps monitor our network, troubleshoot issues, support field teams, and keep our communities connected.
For Johnathon, delivering a better internet experience means creating service customers can count on without having to think about it.
He says, “Reliability comes from doing the small things consistently and responding well when challenges arise.”
Outside of work, Johnathon enjoys fishing, hunting, playing sports with his family, and pursuing his entrepreneurial side through everything from barbering to music production.
Q&A With Johnathon
Q: What part of monitoring and maintaining a fiber network might surprise people most?
A: People might be surprised by how much teamwork and communication happen behind the scenes. Monitoring the network is only part of it. We also help technicians in the field, investigate what’s causing an issue, and work across departments to get the right people and information together. A reliable connection depends on all of those pieces working well together.
Q: What does it mean to you knowing your work helps keep our communities connected?
A: Even though much of my work happens behind the scenes, it never goes unnoticed by me when a new customer joins our network. What’s even more rewarding is knowing they can count on a seamless, reliable connection afterward. As both an employee and someone who cares about the communities we serve, it’s a privilege to play a part in that experience.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job as a NOC Engineer?
A: The team! I truly love our sales team and every person on it matters so much to me. They are all so genuine, kind, smart and caring. Getting to be a part of it is something I will always appreciate.
